Hera's audition « Thread Started on Jan 29, 2007, 5:49pm »
Hera dashed through the forest. It was the dead of night. Above the stars were dull and grim, echoing the thoughts of the wolf pack. They were headed off to battle, one of many in the war that had terrorized the warriors for just over three moons. Hera hoped that with a victory here today, she and her pack could finally put an end to the seemingly endless war. This would be her first battle and she had to keep herself from bounding past the alphas and into the fray.
The wolves rushed into a clearing. All around them other wolf packs were rushing at each other. The snarls of wolves and cries of anguish filled the air. These wolves were all fighting for one thing, survival.
Suddenly, a terrible war cry erupted. The shape of dozens of fresh warriors rushed in. A gray pelted she-wolf leaped at Hera before she could see more. Hera dodged the attack, then swung around to bite the shoulder of another foe before turning back to the she-wolf. Her pelt was gray with streaks of white that suggested she was almost an elder. Her muscles were clearly outlined and pulsed with the anticipation of an attack. Her eyes were bright amber, narrowed from sweat and blood trickling into them. She had scars along her flank, and a long gash on her muzzle was bleeding. Hera saw her muscles bunch as the she-wolf leaped and took hold of Hera's shoulder. Hera let out a cry of pain and made her body go limp. Her attacker let go and jumped back into the fighting as Hera went to see if the shamans needed any help...

Not bad...in fact, it was actually good. Umm you have improved a lot since last time, but I still think you need more description. It's a bit flat but maybe I use too much description? >.> It's a fairly good audition and I think it's accepted.
